“We feel so incredibly lucky to have been part of The Early Learning Camp for such an important chapter in our daughters’ lives. It’s hard to put into words just how special this forest school nursery truly is.

Harriet began her journey in 2020 and stayed until 2024 before heading off to reception, and Leyla joined in 2022 and is now getting ready to take that same big step this September. Watching them both grow in confidence, independence, and happiness during their time at ELC has meant everything to us.

From the very beginning, the staff have shown genuine care, warmth, and dedication in everything they do. Every child is included, valued, and supported, and it really does feel like one big family. The bonds Harriet and Leyla have built, both with the wonderful staff and their friendships with other children, are something we will always cherish.

Some of our most treasured memories come from the magical Christmas and summer fayres, which were always so thoughtfully put together and full of joy, as well as the nursery trips that the girls would come home so excited to talk about. Those experiences created such special moments for them (and for us as parents too).

We are especially grateful for the incredible support shown throughout Leyla’s medical journey. The care, understanding, and attention given to her needs have meant more to us than we can fully express. From carefully managing and keeping her safe with her severe allergies, to taking the time to check in on her even over weekends when she has been poorly, the team have gone above and beyond. Knowing she was always in such safe, capable, and compassionate hands gave us complete peace of mind every single day.

What has always stood out most is that, even during challenging times for the nursery, the team never lost sight of what matters most, the children. Their care, commitment, and consistency never wavered, and they always kept the children at the heart of everything they do.

Beyond the fun and friendships, the skills they’ve gained have been incredible. They’ve learned how to look after themselves day to day, grown in independence, and developed the confidence to take on new challenges. It’s clear how much effort goes into preparing the children not just for school, but for life.

Both Harriet and Leyla have been so well prepared for starting reception, socially, emotionally, and practically. As parents, that reassurance is priceless.

The Early Learning Camp will be deeply missed by our whole family. It has been such a meaningful part of our lives, and we will always look back with so much love, gratitude, and a little bit of sadness as this chapter comes to an end.

“What can I say about ELC…
Brooke didn’t start off with the smoothest journey in Baby Bears. There were tears, tough illnesses, and days when it just didn’t feel right for her. BUT… with the patience, care, and support from the amazing staff, Brooke is now 100% part of the ELC family!
We feel so lucky that she gets to spend three days a week there, surrounded by staff who truly support her growth and happiness.

The understanding from everyone, regards to worrries, questions or just day to day life with children, is incredible—they really go above and beyond to make sure the children are okay. As a parent, the most important thing is knowing your child is happy and safe in someone else’s care, and I can honestly reassure any parent that you will feel exactly that here.

“My son has been going to the early learning camp since January at the age of 9 months old and I wouldn’t want him to go anywhere else! All the ladies are so friendly and caring and I can clearly see he is happy being there, thank you all for looking after our precious boy.”

“The staff and owner at this nursery are amazing! It’s like my sons second home he loves being at nursery learning new things and playing with other kids, there is always new ideas coming in like drama tots which is brilliant.
The personal care here is 10/10 and I couldn’t think of better people to take care of my son, he has a favourite practitioner Hannah who is always happy to see him and he loves laughing with Claire. He has to say hello to all the practitioners so they know he’s arrived.”

“This nursery is absolutely fantastic!tej started at 12 months old and loves it, the staff there are like friends now and they are so wonderful to tej. It melts my heart when he goes running in every morning to play with his friends. What really makes this such a wonderful place are the wonderful ladies that work there. They are always without exception so friendly, welcoming and caring. I just can’t believe how quickly it’s going! The latest lovely creation by tej was a beautiful valentines card. “Can I just say what a fantastic job we think you all do. Having seen our other two children go through various different nursery set ups I can honestly say none of them get even close to the caring happy vibe that you all create. Charlie is so happy there and regularly talks about his friends and what he has been doing which is so lovely. A special mention for Claire, Charlie absolutely loves her and we have no doubt that she is the main reason he has become so settled and happy. She always seems so happy in her work and she is a real asset to the Early Learning Camp.”
